MANGO

Mientras su fundador Isak Andic se encontraba de viaje por Filipinas, decidió probar esta deliciosa fruta, la cual era desconocida en todo Europa, y le encantó el nombre, mismo que permanece sin cambios hasta la actualidad.

While its founder Isak Andic was travelling around Philippines, he decided to try this delicious fruit, which was unknown in Europe, and loved the name.

ZARA

Una de las firmas más vendidas del momento en un inicio iba a llamarse Zorba, ya que a Amancio Ortega le encantaba la película de Anthony Quinn Zorba, pero ese nombre fue registrado antes por una cafetería, así que tuvo que darle un giro. 

One of brands with most products sales was supposed to be called Zorba at its very beginnings, as Amancio Ortega loved the movie of Anthony Quinn Zorba, but that name was registered first by a cafeteria, so he had to change a bit the name of his store.

ASOS

Ésta fue una de las primeras tiendas en línea que conocimos y a sus fundadores se les ocurrió ponerle un nombre que estuviera relacionado con el nuevo negocio de las compras en internet: As seen on screen.

This was one of the first online stores that everyone knew and its founders had the idea of naming it in a way that it could be related to the concept they created: As seen on screen. 

BIMBA Y LOLA

Lo que pocos saben sobre esta marca española es que son los nombres de los perros de sus fundadoras, María y Uxía Domínguez.
