Faux Fur Frenzy...

Hello my loves! So weather in Mexico is finally getting colder and so Faux Fur season has officially started...

Coats and Faux Fur are the two trends I love most about cold weather. Unfortunatedly for me, Mexico has only two or three months of it, so believe me when I say I'm absolutely excited about using them again.

For this outfit, I chose two pieces with a little detail in faux fur. All black (you already know my love for black), and the pop of red in the bag. I believe the key in buying pieces with faux fur will be always the same: versatility, and before buying something, I always think: "does this piece goes with more of what I already have in my closet?". These booties had around 60% discount at the end of last season, but in my honest opinion, they're a classic. They have a classic figure and so the can be used for several seasons If you take proper care of them.  About the faux fur belt, it has a little detail in faux fur, so I've been able to use it since september. With a simple white big shirt, with my HMxBalmain dress or with any other dress, this belt has been with me more than five or six years.

Well, about the bag... by now I know you already know my taste in color and bags. I love when an outfit has a pop of color, and what's better than having holiday red in your outfit? Maybe it´s the shoes, maybe it's the coat, or maybe it's the candy bag... and for me, It's the bag. Red and golden hardware is all I ask for Christmas, jaja.

Buenos días queridos, espero la estén pasando bien.

Hoy quiero contarles sobre como integrar nuestras piezas de invierno que tienen algún "pelo" sintético. Debo confesarles que yo soy de las que amo el invierno por los abrigos y por las piezas con "pelo", y desde hace tiempo decidí comprar ùnicamente piezas con material sintético; habiéndo material tan parecido, no veo la necesidad de traer un pedazo de animal que alguna vez fue vivo. Creo algún día pudiéramos hacer todo un post sobre esto, porque hay muchas opiniones al respecto, lo cierto es que yo tengo algunas prendas también con material natural que me regaló mi abuela (tienen más de 50 años literal...) pero yo nunca las compraría.

Bueno, el punto del post no era ese, jaja, aunque les quiero contar sobre este outfit en el que integré dos accesorios con "pelo". Primero los botines, que compré con alrededor del 60% de descuento al final de la temporada pasada, y como tienen una forma clásica, se que se van a ver bien por muchos años. Son negros, sencillos y versátiles, y para cualquier prenda es lo necesario para hacerlas una prenda clave de nuestro guardarropa.

El segundo elemento con "pelo" en mi outfit fue este cinturón que tiene un pequeño detalle de "pelo" al frente. Es un cinturón que normalmente uso con prendas que se ven mejor ajustadas: es decir, una camisa grande, un vestido o alguna blusa que se vea mejor entallada. En esta ocasión, el vestido negro se veía bien sin cinturón, pero cuando se me ocurrió ponerle cinturón, me gustó todavía más, jaja.

El punto de las prendas con "faux-fur" o "pelo sintético", creo es muy similar a lo que siempre recomiendo para cualquier tipo de prendas: no piensen únicamente en esta temporada... piensen en los tres años siguientes, y así comprarán más inteligentemente.
