Cozy in Pink...

I believe I'm not the only one out there that absolutely loves sweater season... and c'mon, a big, cozy "I-want-a-hug-shouting" sweater is one of my seasons picks...

When you have an amazing cozy sweater in a color you absolutely adore, (if you're like me) I know you too will count the days till the cold weather season arrives to use it...a lot, and I must say, this sweater just makes the trick. Yes, I love the skirt, bikini, and sandal season, but if I need to chose only one season; coats and sweaters have a huge part of my heart. 

The thing about big, cozy sweaters (and please don't judge me...), is that they love you in the same way as your bed does. I mean, my bed loves me so much, that it never wants me to leave her (haha). She hugs me, she gives me comfort when needed, and she warmths my heart when I'm cold... and that are just some of the reasons I love big cozy sweaters. 

The key to find the best sweater for the season is versatility. The sweater that will go with absolutely anything... from gray sweatpants and cool kicks, to stilettos and sexy jeans (or A/C vented jeans like mine haha). If you're running short of ideas, a nice skirt, denim in any of its presentations, leather pants or any other possible garment will look nice... and the key to finding a versatile sweater will always be the following: nice material and easy on the color. Neutrals, pale tones and no patterns (or easy patterns) will help you narrow your search for the perfect sweater...and as for me, I'm just in love with this one...

Buen domingo mis amores... como siempre, el finde me duró un suspiro, pero estoy muy contenta por su cariño y por todo lo que viene por delante. Hoy quiero darles algunos tips sobre como escoger un suéter para esta temporada. Por si no lo sabían, amo la temporada de frío porque me parece romántica... abrigos, cafés calientitos y la idea de las chimeneas me encanta. 

Lo primero que les tengo que decir, es lo que yo considero básico para poder escoger un buen suéter para la temporada son dos cosas: material y color. 

Lo importante del material es que sea 100% natural. Esto lo va a hacer calientito y durable. Creo que uno de mis más grandes desamores en la moda han sido cuando compro algo que me encanta y me pica cuando me lo pongo... y eso normalmente pasa porque el material no es 100% natural o de buena calidad. Siempre digo, mejor uno suéter bueno y que dure muchos años, a tres de calidad mala que a la segunda temporada estén inservibles. Este suéter, es cómodo y al ser tan grande me calienta lo suficiente para las frías tardes del DF. 

Segundo, color. Colores neutros, o pálidos van a ser sumamente versátiles. Suéteres con patrones o dibujos son más notorios y pronto pueden cansar... y si compramos uno en tono neutro va a poderse usar con absolutamente todo en nuestro clóset. Para este post, decidí usarlo con pantalones de mezcilla y tacones y bolsa en color gris... es decir, únicamente colores neutros, aunque es verdad que este suéter es tan combinable que lo usaría con pantalones de cualquier color, con falda y hasta con "pants" grises y unos tenis para el día que quiera estar cómoda en mi casa todo el día o bien salir un café. 

Recuerden, lo más importante de la moda es comprar cosas de buena calidad y que sean versátiles, y de esta manera haremos rendir nuestro dinero de la mejor manera posible. Bueno, y por último, llevar el accesorio maestro: la sonrisa.
