black and pink, isn't always what you think...

Some say pink is the new black, but I'd say black is always the new black...

I own black booties, black shades, black denim, black bags, black swimsuits, black lingerie... ok, maybe I get a lil' excited about black when it comes to either clothing or accesories, and for this editorial, I went for basics.

Black booties, black choker, black shirt, and a pink velvet dress to put some color and texture for this outfit; this is what I'd call a simple but chic. It's perfect for anything from movies and dinner-date, to a Sunday strolling through the city. Booties have the perfect height for a whole day walking around, and of course, as weather in Mexico City is not that cold yet, all I need to wear is a long sleeved shirt and a warm smile all around.

Remember, it always has to do more with the attitude than the colors, textures and brands...

Boots: Brantano

Buen martes mis amores. Cómo les fue de primer día de semana?

Ya lo saben porque creo no soy la única, pero los lunes definitivamente me cuestan un bueeeeen de trabajo, jaja. Bueno, hoy les dejo un outfit que es sencillo, versátil, y bastante cómodo. Se puede usar tanto para un domingo casual, como para un día que tengan algo especial (cita romántica por ejemplo, jajaja).

Bueno, por si no han visto, el terciopelo está de moda, así que decidí usar este vestido en rosa pálido con base negra para que luciera un poco más. Combinado con botines negros de un marca mexicana que se llama Brantano y me encanta(que por cierto tienen el tacón ideal para caminar por largos ratos sin sufrir...), un "choker" negro, y por supuesto, lentes y bolsa negros (si saben que soy oficialmente adicta al color negro?).

Bueno, a veces estoy en "mood" de combinaciones diferentes, y a veces de outfits sencillos... hoy fue uno de esos días, así que, ya me dirán su opinión... les gustó este outfit con vestido de terciopelo?
