Sayulita, I love you.

Hello guys, today, I'm giving you my guide for Sayulita. If your're into beautiful beaches, amazing food, lovely people, surfing vibes and colorful towns, this place must be in your bucket list...

I had Sayulita in my bucket list for several years now and now that I had the chance of being there, I must say that Sayulita is a town like no other. With an amazing beach that runs for a couple miles of almost-white sands and perfect waves in several sizes, Sayulita is paradise for all the surfing community. Colorful, full of live and amazing things to do, If I could give you the lowdown of Sayulita, this would be it.

1. Where to eat. I guess you know me by now... I LOVE TO EAT. Desserts before entrees, I don't care; if I see something that looks delicious, I must try it. Well, Sayulita is a foddies paradise too, from the little shops where you can eat fresh-fish tacos with mayo and avocado (less dan a dollar each), to cute little place such as Sayulita's best know brick oven pizza place: "La Rustica", where they have home-made pastas and amazing pizzas. If you´re not into moving yourself from your beach towel, all over the beach there are little restaurants where you can order directly to your spot. "Aguachiles" "Cocteles" and fresh clams would be my fave three, although I can assure you that absolutely everything is delicious. If you're into desserts like me, don't forget to try the "chocobanana", a frozen banana dipped into delicious chocolate... or the artisan ice creams and popsicles... by the way, if you love avocado, there's either avo ice cream and popsicle. 2. Where to stay. I must say, that if you're into 5 star hotels only, you might be disappointed, as Sayulita offers luxury in other ways. There are amazing rentals with oceanview, and some I-want-to-die-cute hotels... all of them with only a few rooms each. The thing about a place like this is that the little town and the beach are so nice, I'd be at the hotel for the sleeping hours, and for that, all I need is a clean, neat place, and that's Pam in a nutshell. (if you still want to sleep on a Four Seasons or a St. Regis, they're just 20 minutes away...)

3. What to do. I noticed two important themes in Sayulita... surf and yoga, so if you're into any one of these, Sayulita must be your second home. There are several yoga retreats that are famous in the region, with some celebs visiting regularly, and honestly, who doesn't love to do yoga with a 50 shade-of-blue ocean in the front? For surfers, either pro, amateur, or just-want-to-surf-today, there are several surf schools that have amazing teachers... and the height of the waves makes it easy for anyone to surf. If your're more into art, there are several galleries around that have incredible work by talented locals. Pictures, sculpture and of course, textiles. As Sayulita is not that big of a town, you just need two or three days to know well the town, but if you are like me and love beautiful beaches, book a whole week and prepare yourself to eat delicious, rest like in heaven and enjoy paradise.

4. How to get there. Book a flight to Puerto Vallarta, and get a taxi to get you here. If you rent a car, it'n only a 30 minute ride for paradise... and trust me, you'll love it.

Buen Jueves queridos!! Si vieron mi snapchat, se dieron cuenta que la semana pasada estuve unos días en la Riviera Nayarit y fui a Sayulita. Varias personas que me habían recomendado ir porque todas me decían: "te va a encantar"... y la verdad, tenían razón. Amé Sayulita como no tienen una idea. Cada rinconcito, cada calle, cada restaurante, y por supuesto, la preciosa playa, todo suma para que sea uno de mis lugares favoritos hasta ahora. Es imposible resumir al paraíso en unas cuantas líneas, pero desde mi punto de vista, les daré algunos puntos y recomendaciones por si quieren ir... (bueno, DEBEN ir)

1. ¿Dónde comer? Ya saben la importancia que esto tiene para mi, jajaja. Amo comer y amo comer delicioso, y Sayulita es el perfecto ejemplo de que absolutamente todo está delicioso. Si son como yo que les gusta comer rico, todos los puestos que están en las callecitas tienen comida espectacular... los tacos de pescado o marlin, con aguacate y mayonesa por $15 pesos cada uno en la avenida que desemboca a la playa son un "must". Si quieren un lugar un poco más en forma de sentarse y todo, hay una pizzería con horno de leña que se llama "la Rústica"... amé la decoración y por cierto, las pastas son hechas en casa, y ya saben lo que eso significa, jaja. Hay lugares para todos los gustos y precios, es cuestión de darse una vueltecita por ahí y sentarse donde más se les antoje. Si por algo, no quieren moverse de la playa, hay algunos restaurantes que te llevan lo que quieras a tu lugar... ceviches, aguachiles, cocteles... y todo exquisito. De los postres ya saben que me encantan, prueben los "chocobananas" y los helados regionales... creanme, no podía dejar de comer, jaja.

2. ¿Dónde quedarse? Sayulita tiene hoteles y casas para rentar de todos los gustos y para todos los presupuestos, aunque hay que decirlo, los hoteles cinco estrellas no están en Sayulita (sino a 20 minutos de distancia). Yo, en lo personal, lo único que pido de una casa o de un hotel en un lugar así son dos cosas: que el lugar esté limpio y bonito... y cada vez más me doy cuenta que no necesariamente tiene que ver con el precio... y Sayulita, tiene lugares bonitos y limpios... y la verdad, con esta vista al precioso mar, todo lo demás sobra, jaja.

3. ¿Qué hacer? Surf, Yoga o simplemente pasear, este lugar es impresionante. Con escuelas de surf y retiros de yoga, Sayulita se ha convertido en un lugar muy visitado por estos grupos; pero si son como yo que les gusta pasear en lugares bonitos, Sayulita es uno que no pueden dejar de conocer. Hay galerías con artesanía y artistas locales, hay tiendas con toda clase de diseñadores locales y hay callecitas y paredes coloridas por todo el lugar... y para mi, eso es más que suficiente. La gente es lindísima y siempre dispuesta a guiarte al mejor lugar para tomar café, postre, o quedarse a dormir.

4. ¿Cómo llegar? Muy sencillo, tomen un vuelo a Puerto Vallarta y de ahí, pueden pedir taxi o rentar un coche, y no les tomará más de 30 minutos.

Bueno, espero esto les de una idea de lo bonito que es Sayulita. Para mi, ha sido uno de los lugares más bonitos en los que he estado, y si no lo conocen, no dejen de visitarlo pronto.
