Fashion Week: a Recap of Alejandro Carlin Show

Happy Monday loves !! How was your weekend? Mine was all about sleeping all day long and waking up to eat, haha. So I must confess I´m absolutely ready for this´ week activities.
I´ve still have some outfits to show you about last week edition of Mexican Fashion week, so today´s post is about Alejandro Carlin´s runway presentation. As he told me when I visited his showroom to choose my outfit, his new collection is for the modern Mexican woman living in the city (by the way you have no idea how much I love to use outfits from designers…I could do that all day, every day If I had the chance, haha). Modern, chic and reflecting her hunger for succes, his Fall / Winter collection is presented in neutrals with some military green. Organic cloth was used to build his collection, with the finest materials available in the market. Just for the record, Alejandro Carlin Studied fashion in Milan and in London, and came back to Mexico to show us his amazing work.  
I absolutely loved all of his runway looks, and I was super excited to wear one of his looks for his presentation. By the way, I´m glad I chose some shorts and a gorgeous silk blouse, as the weather in Mexico is pretty hot these days.

“ ALEJANDRO CARLIN”

Bonito Lunes mis amores!!  Después del fin de mucho descanso  y de seguir instalándome en nuestra nueva casa (que por cierto están invitados cuando quieran), ya estamos aquí de nuevo empezando la semana con mucha energía y listos para todo lo que viene.
Como saben fue la semana de la moda aquí en el DF así que les comparto algunas fotos del evento y los outfits que usé durante estos días.
El post de hoy es de Alejandro Carlin, nacido en Monterrey que estudió Moda en Milán y Londres y ahora un referente de la moda en México.  Presentó su coleccion otoño-invierno que cómo el mismo lo menciona, fue insipirada en la mujer actual de la ciudad de México. Una mujer inteligente, luchadora y con ganas de triunfar, vimos drapeados (que me encantan), blusas con moño (que también me encantan) y vestidos con vuelo en telas ligeras. Respecto de los colores, neutros principalmente y algunos cafés y verdes ad hoc para el otoño que nos espera.
Les cuento que para su desfile tuve la oportunidad de llevar un look completo de él lo cual siempre me da pero muchísma emoción.
Como tenemos mucho calor y además en la carpa del Fashion Week hace todavía más calor del normal, opté por unos shorts blancos y una blusa de seda amarilla que me encantaron. Además debo confesarles, que mentalmente ya tengo varias opciones de combinar la blusa amarilla con otros outfits que tengo en mi clóset, haha, entre ellos, jeans ajustados, jeans acampanados, shorts de mezclilla y a ver que otra cosa se nos ocurre en el camino.
