Statement Stripes...

You already know that I love stripes, but tbh, I've never used red stripes until I found this amazing dress/shirt/layer...
They say there's always a first for everything, and for me, it was this red striped maxi-shirt / dress... Yup, it's a trend, and if you haven´t noticed yet, shirts have become a very important piece in every fashonista's closet.
Statement sleeves, statement length, or statement layering is a current trend, but if you've read me for a while, you'll notice that I don't like be on the trendy side without putting some of my personal style on the outfit... and yes, here comes the big red bow. Unplanned and grabbed one minute before I went outside the door, I must say the bow is key for this outfit... lots or red I know, but c'mon, who doesn't like big bows?
Green velvet heels that are not only amazing for long walks but also go from anything between trackpants and cocktail dresses, I chose to use only two main color in this outfit... red and Green... Viva Mexico.
Trend Alert: buy a long dress that can be used as a dress, or simply for interesting layering.

Buen martes mis amores, hoy les quiero platicar sobre un TRENDALERT... si, apunten bien: camisas largas, o vestidos que se pueden usar solamente con zapatos, o bien, como alguna capa que usemos en nuestros outfits.
Por supuesto el color de la camisa puede ser el que más les guste, pero en mi caso, debo contarles que las rayas rojas son algo nuevo para mi. Me gusta el rojo? Si, pero nunca imaginé traer un outfit tan colorido y que me gustara, jajaja. Pienso que la clave del outfit además de ser este vestido/camisa larga es el detalle (que debo confesarles) que sumé al outfit unos minutos antes de salir de mi clóset, y fue este cinturón tipo moño en rojo también. La razón: sencilla... una camisa de este tipo no me hacía buena figura, pero con un cinto en la cintura todo se resolvió...
Sobre los zapatos, bueno, ya me los han visto... verdes y de terciopelo, pero lo más importante es que son sumamente cómodos para caminar.
Piensen que un vestido así puede ser usado como tal, o bien como una camisa arriba de una playera blanca, con unos jeans a la cadera, y algunos tenis o algo así... lo más importante como siempre se los digo es: comprar prendas versátiles...
