Stripes are my new faves...

Happy Tuesday loves... today I'm writing about one of the best fashion surprises I've had in quite a long time...

Well, warmer days are here and I must confess that this dress has been one of the most fashionable surprises for me in quite a long time. You see, surfing through the web is very important for me to get inspired; not only I read about fashion destinations, trends and gossip, but also I keep my mind and eyes open looking always for something that inspires me enough...

Well, the story behind this dress is the following: I was looking for something dressy but versatile enough to get me through any day of the week. Either during mornings, or any evening, something I would match with either white sneakers or black pumps... and I saw this dress in a blonde model. Yes, slim tall girl, and as I loved it, the obvious first question was: am I going to look good in it? I mean I'm no model, and shorter and more of a curvy type girl. Well, as stripes always make us look slimmer... I went for it, and when the dress arrived to my hands (as I ordered it online), I absolutely loved it...

You know me... it's the silky lightness of it, and of course, it's versatility. It's been only one week I've had it, and I've used it three times already: one with black pumps, one with white sneakers, choker and a bralette, and the other one with booties: Yes, I mus admit that when I love something I use it a lot... and this striped long silky dress is one of my current fave-pieces in my closet.

Last but not least... as versatility es key, always look for classic colors and patterns, ok?

Buen martes queridos!! Como siempre les digo, estoy feliz de poder pasar tiempo con ustedes, y me encanta escribirles sobre mis aventuras en el siempre cambiante mundo de la moda. 

La verdad no me da pena decirlo, pero este vestido lo he usado tres veces durante los últimos diez días, jajaja. Les voy a decir porque me ha gustado tanto: primero, por la comidad y por que tiene tela suave que vuela cuando camino... y segundo, porque es muy, pero muy cómodo y versátil. Tiene la tela y largo ideales para sentirme fresca y cómoda todo el día.

Por si no lo vieron en mi snapchat o en mi Instagram, una de las formas en las que usé este vestido fue para un evento de noche. Fue para la inauguración de la nueva tienda de Massimo Dutti aqui Polanco, y obviamente lo usé con tacones, pero al ser un vestido en colores y corte tan clásico, para este post decidí darle un "look" más informal y lo usé con mis tenis blancos.

Tacones de color, tacones en color sólido, tenis negros blancos, botines, sandalias o cualquier zapato de verano, este vestido es una de las piezas más versátiles que tengo en mi closet ahorita. La imagino con un suéter en caso de frío o una chamarra de piel... o bien con alpargatas para una tarde en la playa y un sombrero. Bueno, les dejo a ustedes las demás opciones, pero por mi parte, les digo que estoy encantada con este vestido.
